Cheung Chau Bun Festival will be held on 5th May on Buddha’s birthday. During the day, you can watch the Piu Sik Parade, a float parade with children depicting social current affairs or folk tales. This year they will include hot topics such as KK Park, Ne Zha, National Games and more. At midnight, the final of the annual Bun Scrambling Competition will begin! 9 male and 3 female athletes will be competing for the titles of “Bun-scrambling King” and “Queen”.

Wonders of Imperial Carpets: Masterpieces from the Museum of Islamic Art, Comic Fun for All: The Magic of Hong Kong Comedy Comics
Taking place at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, “Wonders of Imperial Carpets: Masterpieces from the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha” is the first large-scale exhibition of Islamic art in the city. Chinese Culture Festival; Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province
From June to September, the second Chinese Culture Festival features more than 280 performances, including selected works from “Chinese Opera Festival” and outstanding local works recognized by the China National Arts Fund, as well as works by local art organizations, covering music, dance, multi-arts, theatre, Chinese opera, films, exhibitions and more.

Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province; The Pride of Hong Kong: Three Preeminent Collections of Ancient Paintings and Calligraphies exhibition
"The Great Unity - Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province” exhibition is running from now until 7th July at the Hong Kong Museum of History. Highlight is three different terracotta warriors of Emperor Qin Shihuang, which are grade-one national treasures and are displayed in Hong Kong for the first time.
The exhibition displays a total of more than 130 sets of precious cultural relics, including 11 grade-one national treasures, four of which are being exhibited outside the Mainland for the first time, introducing the development of politics, economy, culture, technology and Sino-foreign transportation during the Qin and Han dynasties. The Pride of Hong Kong: Three Preeminent Collections of Ancient Paintings and Calligraphies exhibition; Comic Fun for All: The Magic of Hong Kong Comedy Comics
“The Pride of Hong Kong: Three Preeminent Collections of Ancient Paintings and Calligraphies” is being held at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. It’s the first time that the three major ancient calligraphy and painting collections in Hong Kong have been brought together, with a selection of 93 sets of classic calligraphy and painting works from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty.
The three preeminent collections are Low Chuck-tiew’s Xubaizhai, Ho Iu-kwong’s Chih Lo Lou and Lee Jung-sen’s Bei Shan Tang. They and their families have donated their invaluable collections to the Museum of Art and the Art Museum of CUHK for the benefit of the general public.16/06/2025收看 -
Volleyball Nations League Hong; Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province
Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong will be held from June 18th to 22nd. It’s the first time it will be held at the Kai Tak Arena.
The five-day tournament will feature six world-class teams, namely China, Italy, Japan, Thailand, Czech Republic and Bulgaria, with a total of 12 matches.13/06/2025收看 -
Comic Fun for All: The Magic of Hong Kong Comedy Comics; International Travel Expo
Hong Kong Heritage Museum is presenting the exhibition, “Comic Fun for All: The Magic of Hong Kong Comedy Comics”. From the perspective of comic artists, exhibits related to humorous Hong Kong comics from different eras are displayed, including manuscripts, comic books, theme products, art installations, and even multimedia projects.

International Travel Expo Hong; Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA
The annual International Travel Expo will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 12th to 15th. The first three days are for the industry, while the afternoon of the 13th and the 14th and 15th are for the public. The travel information and discounts could be explored from all over the world.

International Dragon Boat Races; Civilisation of the Qin and Han Dynasties in Shaanxi Province
The annual International Dragon Boat Races will be held off Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade on June 7th and 8th. Over 100 teams from Hong Kong, Macao, the Mainland and around the world will gather to compete in Victoria Harbour. The Tournament comprises 18 standard boat competitions, and there is prize money for the four Championship events. Another highlight of the event is the “Fancy Dress Competition”. Athletes will dress up in meticulously designed costumes to draw the attention of the audience.
