    The Kai Tak Arena will be hosting the Hong Kong leg of UTS, the Ultimate Tennis Showdown on October 14th and 15th. This innovative tennis tournament is making its debut in Hong Kong and Asia. The focus is certainly Hong Kong Number 1 Coleman Wong Chak Lam, other players include Rublev, who has reached the Grand Slam quarterfinals many times; Australia’s No.1 Alex de Minaur and China’s Number 1 Zhang Zhizhen and more.

      BLAST Premier Hong Kong Rivals; Symphony Under the Stars

      BLAST Premier Hong Kong Rivals is held at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena from November 14th to 16th. This is the first time that the highest-profile S-Tier Tournament in e-sports has been held in Hong Kong, with a prize pool of 350 thousand US dollars. It’s the first esports competition to be recognized as an “M” Mark large-scale sports event.
      The Hong Kong stop is the last “Counter-Strike 2” tournament of BLAST Premier global circuit this year, bringing together eight elite teams. For are the best teams from the Valve Regional Standings, while the other four are invited from Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

      Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons; Heritage Fiesta

      Jointly organized by the Development Bureau and the National Cultural Heritage Administration, “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness” is on until December 31st at Kowloon Park’s Heritage Discovery Centre.

      The exhibition features 298 sets of exhibits from 28 cultural institutions on the mainland as well as the Antiquities and Monuments Office of Hong Kong, including 49 sets of grade-one cultural relics.

      The exhibition presents the social landscape of the Tang Dynasty from various perspectives, including the administrative system, peasants’ lives, religion and literature, and external development, showcasing the the confidence, openness and inclusiveness of the time.

      Heritage Fiesta; Asia+ Festival

      Heritage Fiesta is being held from now until November. The declared monuments and graded historic buildings that were once used for movie filming are open to the public during specific periods. One of them is the the former Fanling Magistracy, which is now HKFYG Leadership Institute. Blockbusters such as “A Guilty Conscience”, “The Sparring Partner” and “Infernal Affairs 2” have scenes filmed there. Other places include the Tung Wah Coffin Home, where parts of “The Last Dance” were filmed; and St. Stephen’s College in Stanley, one of the filming locations of “Echoes of the Rainbow” and “Lyricist Wannabe”. There’s also the Victoria Road Detention Centre, now the revitalized University of Chicago campus, and the Western District Community Centre, which is the Main Building of Old Tsan Yuk Maternity Hospital).

      Asia+ Festival; Treasures of the Mughal Court

      Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the third Asia+ Festival will be held from September to November. It brings together artists and art troupes from over thirty countries and regions, presenting more than a hundred drama, dance, and music performances. The highlight of the Asia+ Festival, the “Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances +” Carnival, will be held on November 16th at the Cultural Centre. Supported by Consulates General in Hong Kong, there will be performances of ethnic music and dance from various countries, as well as stalls and workshops showcasing exquisite traditional ethnic costumes, handicrafts, and snacks.

      15th National Games; Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons

      The 15th National Games, which will be held from November 9th to 21st. Cohosting by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, it’s the first time it’s organized through cross-boundary collaboration, featuring competition events for 34 sports and mass participation events for 23 sports. Hong Kong will host eight competition events and one mass event. Three will be held at the Kai Tak Sports Park, including fencing, men’s handball and rugby sevens, featuring Olympic double gold medalist Cheung Ka Long and “World No. 1” Ryan Choi Chun Yin; Kai Tak will also stage the mass participation event bowling. The other five competition events are track cycling at the Hong Kong Velodrome, beach volleyball at Victoria Park, men’s U22 basketball at the Hong Kong Coliseum, triathlon at the Central Harbourfront and Victoria Harbour, and golf at the Fanling Golf Club.

The exhibition focuses on circular economy and waste management, green and smart mobility, and ESG-related services, exploring diverse green business opportunities. The Environmental Campaign Committee and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation will lead over 30 start-ups to showcase their green innovations.
