Part 1: In April, the merger of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI) was successfully completed, creating Hong Kong’s largest government-funded research and development (R&D) centre. The merger will further strengthen Hong Kong’s capabilities, forming a globally comprehensive applied R&D platform.
