On Monday’s Backchat, we indulged ourselves in the Asia+ Festival, which will be held in the city from September to November.
The annual festival, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and now in its third edition, will involve over 30 countries and regions and showcase more than 100 cultural performances and activities.
After the break, we turned to a festival honoring Chinese traditional architecture figure Lo Pan. The construction industry traditionally holds rituals and ceremonies to mark the birthday of Lo Pan in the sixth Lunar month, and we found out why.
Finally, we heard from the Consumer Council, which reminded parents to be cautious when buying children’s raincoats as some of them may be pose safety risks.
