China International Import Expo / Women Chief Executives Summit / Elon Musk's record-breaking pay package

On Tuesday's Backchat, we started by looking back at the China International Import Expo, which just wrapped up in Shanghai. Thousands of exhibitors from some 155 countries, regions and international organisations took part in the massive fair during the six-day event. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council hosted two dedicated pavilions for the food and services sectors this year, which attracted 54 exhibitors from the SAR. We heard about how the expo reflected the nation's commitment to opening-up and promoting free trade.

After the break, we learned more about how women are breaking the glass ceiling in the corporate world as more local women are taking up leadership roles. It follows the recent inaugural Women Chief Executives Summit held in the city.

And finally, we took a deep dive into Tesla boss Elon Musk's record-breaking pay package that could be worth nearly US$1 trillion - the largest corporate pay package in history.

    主持人:Philip Wong and John Bruce

On Wednesday's Backchat, we looked ahead to the upcoming National Games and the preparations that are needed to ensure it runs smoothly for audience members and participants.
Two professors from the Polytechnic University's department of rehabilitation sciences spoke to us about a 30-member team they'll be sending to the games to provide physiotherapy services. We also looked at a study arguing that giving girls toys that were designed for boys could help boost their STEM skills.
