In the spirit of World Radio Day, we kicked off this Backchat by speaking to the Head of Radio at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union to learn more about listening trends around the world.
After that, we talked to a political analyst on the recent violence that took place in Pakistan's south-western province of Balochistan. On Thursday's Backchat, we talked to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data on its new guidelines that address the misuse of AI-generated deepfake technology.
After that, we turned our attention to the Caribbean, where tensions continue to mount between the United States and Venezuela. US President Donald Trump recently announced a blockade against "sanctioned oil tankers" coming in and out of the South American coastal nation. Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro has accused Washington of trying to force a "regime change".
And we wrapped-up the programme by learning more about the Department of Health's "HIV Testing Month".
