    Village house conversions in Northern Metropolis / British PM Keir Starmer resignation / Poverty reduction report

    On this programme, officials join us to shed insight on a policy paper that aims to boost rural tourism. Residents in two villages will be able to convert their houses into restaurants, guest houses or shops without prior application. 
    After the break, we hear from a political pundit on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stepping down from the head of the ruling Labour Party, paving the way for Britain getting its seventh PM in just over a decade. What kind of legacy does Starmer leave, and how much work lies ahead for the person who replaces him?
    And finally, we speak with another lawmaker after the government released a report on the impact of targeted poverty alleviation in the city.

    UAE leaving OPEC / 'Mega' trade fairs in Hong Kong / Private health insurance expenditure surged

    On this programme, we take a look at the United Arab Emirates' departure from Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries - or OPEC.

    After the break, we speak with exhibitors from the Middle East on how they expand their businesses around the world through trade fairs organised by Hong Kong's Trade Development Council, despite the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region.

    And to wrap up, we learn all about the recent surge of private health insurance expenditure, after new research found an increase of 60 percent in overall medical expenditure between 2019 to 2023.
