    Ride-hailing permit cap / CUHK metabolic health study / Global Prosperity Summit 2026

    On this programme, we first speak with experts and a lawmaker about ride hailing permits. The regulatory regime launches next year, but there's still creases being ironed out, including the number of permits to be issued. Authorities said they're consulting the public too. 
    After the break, we unpack a recent study conducted by researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong which found that middle-aged women with overweight or obesity lose more fat by combining flexible time-restricted eating with aerobic exercise.
    And lastly, we learn all about the Global Prosperity Summit that is set to be held in Hong Kong next week.

    On this programme, we first speak with a lawmaker and a mental wellness expert on the government's plan to tighten regulations on claw machines, pinball machines and internet cafes.
    We then get another lawmaker's take on some public hospital wards extending visiting hours from four to nine hours a day, by the end of July.
    After the break, we tell you all about the upcoming Tin Hau Festival, which honours the birthday of Tin Hau, the revered Goddess of the Sea.
    And last but not least, we recap the World Snooker Championship that took place in Sheffield, England earlier this week.
