    Policy Address review - Artificial intelligence / Birth

    On this programme, we continue with our coverage of Hong Kong's first five-year plan and the policy address delivered by Chief Executive John Lee.

    A lawmaker and a tech expert join us to discuss how the government can better promote AI adoption across industries while strengthening legal frameworks to detect and remove fraudulent, AI-generated content.

    After the break, we breakdown the 11 key measures in the Policy Address to boost childbirth rates. They include a one-off cash allowance of HK$30,000 for every baby after the first child, and an extension of a new born baby bonus of HK$20,000.

    Five-Year Plan proposals by David Lam / Record-breaking heatwave in Hong Kong / GBA new consumer protection regulation

    On this programme, a medical sector lawmaker first share his thoughts on the SAR's inaugural five-year plan.

    After the break, we learn how to beat the heat as Hong Kong braces for more hot days as Tropical Cyclone Dolphin moves across eastern China, fuelling heat in the city, with temperatures in some areas soaring to 37 degrees Celsius or above.

    And finally, we dive into the new regulation that will protect consumer rights in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, starting in October 1. With the new regulation, consumer watchdogs in the mainland and the two SARs can handle cross-boundary consumer complaints.
