On Brunch this Wednesday 13th May, we’re focusing on the people, language, and stories that make Hong Kong such a vibrant and fascinating city, the kind of morning where culture, conversation, and community all come together.

After 10, we explore the beauty and humour of Cantonese with our regular series from Radio 3’s Rachel Liu and Tanya Chou.

After 10.30, we’ll explore the rise of plant based French cuisine, sustainability in food, and how Hong Kong’s international energy continues to inspire chefs and dining culture across the city. We’ll be hearing from plant based French chef Tina Barrat.

At 11, Leanne Nicholls joins us in studio. As the Founder and Artistic Director of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. We’ll talk about the evolving arts scene, the power of live performance, and why classical music continues to find fresh energy in the city.

After 11:30, The Bright Side with Raphael Blet brings uplifting stories, positive energy, and a reminder that there's always something good happening in the city.
