On Tuesday, May 26th, just after 10:30 a.m., we’ll be discussing China’s unexpected fascination with Bollywood—how films like Dangal, 3 Idiots, and Secret Superstar became cultural sensations, sparking devoted cross-border fan bases. Then at 11:00, jazz glamour arrives in Hong Kong as singer Kate Kortum performs live with us. Fresh off shows at Birdland, Blue Note, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kate is in town with her quartet for two intimate concerts at the Tea House Theatre in the Xiqu Centre.
And after 11:45, The Bright Side returns with Radio 3’s own Raphael Blet, bringing uplifting stories, positive energy, and moments of beauty from across the city.
