On Brunch this Monday, 21st September, with Shazia Awan-Scully: After 10:45, Radio 3’s Carlos Escueta joins Shazia to bring you everything you need to know about the Asian Games. After 11:00, Shazia is joined by Chris Wan Feng - curator, art critic, and Head of Gallery and Exhibitions at Asia Society Hong Kong Center - for a look at Hong Kong’s art scene: what’s on, what’s happening, and what’s worth seeing. And after 11:30, it’s The Bright Side with Raphael Blet, bringing uplifting, inspiring stories.

This week on Check in at 11, Alishiba Matloob speaks with James Thomson Sakhrani, the managing director of The Amber Foundation, a charity in Hong Kong, about his initiatives like The Toiletries Project - turning surplus hotel and airline amenities into support for people who need it - and EMPOWER, which helps ethnically diverse young women build confidence, networks, and long-term career stability. After 11:30am, we’ll be talking about Hong Kong’s marine environment with Kathleen Ho and Al Yiu, experts in our underwater backyard, as we explore the fascinating world of reef fishes and the role they play in our oceans.
