This week, we look at how jewelry has shaped culture and personal expression over time. We visit a special exhibition at the Hong Kong Palace Museum titled Treasures of Global Jewellery from the Metropolitan Museum of Art: The Body Transformed. We also check out Geometric Gesture, a solo exhibition by Lai Sio Kit, which transforms vintage Macao tiles and architectural memories into a labyrinth of three-dimensional, hand-painted geometric cubes. Plus, we feature Form, a multi-sensory group exhibition in Wong Chuk Hang.

This week, we explore the Dial-A-Poem Hong Kong exhibition taking place at M+. It’s an audio art installation inspired by the iconic 1968 public art project by American artist John Giorno, that brought poetry straight to the public over telephone lines. We find out what’s on offer at The Underground Hong Kong’s 22nd anniversary music festival - happening today and tomorrow. Plus, we hear from Kingsley Ng - one of two local artists representing Hong Kong at this year’s Venice Biennale, contemporary art exhibition.
