Why is there more ice in Antarctica when rising temperatures should be melting everything there? That's the line of questioning that climate-change skeptics are pushing after newly published data showed that the ice mass in a part of the continent had increased in size for the first time in decades. They are using the study to disprove climate change's impact. Scientists on the other hand are saying that the temporary uptick in ice coverage was due to unusual precipitation and does not represent the full picture. Aaron Tam takes a closer look in this week's Fact Focus.

Is there an underground city beneath one of the Great Pyramids of Giza, where there's a hidden world of structures and massive columns that spiral more than half-a-kilometre into the earth?
Those are the supposed findings of three Italian researchers with no background in Egyptology or archeology. The trio claimed they used special radar tech used by Nasa to see underground. But according to AFP Factcheck, the American space agency itself said that the synthetic aperture radar, quote, "is not designed to probe extreme depths".
