    The Brew

    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Morris Miselowski - Space / Jarrod Watt - Aussie news and music / Dr. Merrin Pearse - Eco-things

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to The Brew. It’s Tuesday. We always talk about invention and progress on this day, with Morris Miselowski. As the world fills up with more wonderful futuristic "things”, it’s also filling up with more… garbage. So, today we'll talk about the elephant in the room, and that is… how to deal with mountains of futuristic junk. Whether recycled or otherwise, where do we put it all? This sounds like a great excuse for our business futurist to talk about 'space'. At 12:40 today, Jarrod Watt brings you all the Aussie news and more great music. Then at 1:25 Dr. Merrin Pearse is giving us an update on a range of eco-things, including what is happening with electric rubbish trucks in New Zealand (from where he's live), the BSAP consultation happening in here Hong Kong... and other little snippets. Join him on Facebook live too.
Every weekday afternoon from 12 until 2... Only on Radio 3
