Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
Happy Friday, and welcome to The Brew. At 12:10 it’s Marshy Movie Time with James Marsh, live from Chiang Mai. Reviews today include VisionQuest, which has become Disney+’s most-watched show, and Tenzing, the Apple TV film about Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary that has topped the movie charts in ninety-two countries. At 1:25 it’s Sports and All with Danny Hicks, our second this week, and he’s live once again from the Hong Kong Open in Fanling. Yesterday local golfers Matthew Cheung and Isaac Lam both shot six under and briefly led the field, the first time two Hong Kong players have topped the board in the tournament’s history.
