Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
It’s Wednesday on The Brew. No Tracy Quan today, as she’s mid-rest and having a few early nights for a couple of weeks. At 12:40 RTL France’s Philippe Dova joins us from Paris. Axelle Red is making her long-awaited comeback, the Belgian singer behind Sensualité and Manhattan-Kaboul, nearly ten years after her last pop album, with a new single already out and a full record due next March. At 1:25 it’s Classical Music Day with Paul Archibald, live from Bangkok. Nobel week, so today is music and the prize. Einstein played the violin every day of his life, Tagore wrote more than two thousand songs, and Albert Schweitzer’s Bach recordings helped pay for his medical training and the hospital in Africa. Paul will take us through a few of those connections.

It’s Tuesday on The Brew. At 12:10 biz futurist Morris Miselowski joins us live from Melbourne. Today, we’re talking mortgages, because... did you know that the thing most of us still buy a home with is a 1950s invention? The 30-year mortgage was built for one job, one city, one marriage, and weather that stayed put. We still use that product, so how long before that has to change? Morris has ALL the answers! Then at 12:40 Jarrod Watt is back is back with all the news from Down Under, plus some fair dinkum tracks from Aussie stars for you to enjoy.
