Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
It’s Thursday already, which can only mean one thing. At 12:10 it’s Brewed in HK with John Prymmer, coming to you from Cleveland, USA, with more brand new and slightly used music from Hong Kong’s top musical talent. At 1:25 Chef Jason Black is back, live from South Africa, for a chat about the food of New Orleans. He lived and worked there for some years, so expect 'the word' on this rich, spicy, full of flavour cuisine from and one of the great eating cities of the world.

It’s Wednesday on The Brew. Our New York correspondent Tracy Quan is having a well earned couple of early nights, and she’ll be back next month with all her New York stuff and news. At 12:40 RTL France’s Philippe Dova is live from Paris, with a tribute to Madame Vline Buggy, the lyricist behind so many French pop classics, who has died at 97. At 1:25 it’s an Asian Games Sports and All Extra with Danny Hicks, live from the golf at Kasugai Country Club in Aichi, where Hong Kong’s Taichi Kho has started his gold medal defence with a hole in one in his first round. Join Danny on Facebook live if you can.
