    The Brew

    簡介

    GIST

    主持人:James Ross (guest presenter)

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

Tracy Quan - News and views / Philippe Dova - French Christmas music / Joseph Haydn - Classical music

It's Wednesday once again. Welcome to The Brew. Our New York correspondent Tracy Quan will be back at 12:10 with all her news and views, live from The Apple. Then, we're off to Singapore at 12:40 to catch up with RTL France's Philippe Dova. Today he opens le sac of French Christmas music. Yes, that had to happen! Then at 1:25, 'classical' music day takes us to London, which was where our 'great master of the week' found himself in 1791. Today, we'll talk about the one and only 'Papa' Joseph Haydn.

    主持人:James Ross (guest presenter)

James in this week while Phil takes a break, and today after 12 we look at the future of money and digital currencies with our resident futurologist Morris Miselowski. The talented Mr Watt (Jarrod to you and me) joins us after 12.30 with All Things Aussie, and Premier Li Qiang is in Australia - the big question is does he remove the last trade barrier, on lobster exports from WA? After 1 Merrin Pearse is joined by Carlos Neves from Hong Kong Biodiversity Museum at HKU. Carlos is a Masters student and in his spare time creates amazing posters and pictures of insects, seeds and other small beauties to promote the museum (photo). Plus the best in music through until 2pm.
