    Tokenomics development

This week, Chloe Feng and Brian Wong explore tokenomics on the Chinese mainland!

Tokens have been reshaping the global AI economy, driven by multimodal models, AI agents, and growing AI applications. By March this year, China’s daily token usage had already surpassed 140 trillion - a more than 1,000-fold increase from early

2024, according to official data. So how will tokenomics unfold in the future? Weekly Roundup / AI translation of Chinese literature

    主持人:CM Chan and Chloe Feng

This week, we're exploring how Chinese literature is making its mark on the global stage, driven by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence. With a simple click of the “instant translation” feature, readers worldwide can discover some of the mainland’s hottest bestsellers and timeless classics, making Chinese literature more relatable and accessible than ever.

Recent reports from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and China Literature reveal a remarkable increase in overseas readership of Chinese web novels, soaring from 230 million in 2023 to 352 million last year.
Can AI technology further expand the reach of domestic literature globally? What challenges come with translating culturally nuanced texts? And how does AI affect human translators, as well as issues related to copyright?
To explore these questions, CM Chan and Chloe is joined by Professor Janice Pan from Baptist University’s Department of Translation, Interpreting.
