‘Mon Homme” was a big 1920 tune in France, composed by Maurice Yvain, but we focus this morning on the English hit from 1921, a mighty recording by Ziegfeld Follies singer Fanny Brice. We feature a track, once again, from a modern line up playing vintage arrangements on vintage instruments: The Bratislava Hot Serenaders. Colin also digs up two big selling records of 1958 from Perry Como, as well as Billy Ternant & his orchestra, plus a country AND western swinger from Don Gibson in 1958.
