There'sa 1958 recording for the Hallmark label from the Paul Newman movie The Long Hot Summer, and an amazing sounding record of Jack Payne and his orchestra, playing with precision and power in 1932. Plus, a 1931 hit revived in 1957 for the movie Bernardine... all based on a Sandy Beach.

Top selling 78s from the likes of Jack Hilton with the absolute go-to song about rain, made famous during cinema's transition from silent to sound.
