The Leonkoro offers works spanning three centuries. They begin with Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 4 in C minor, Op. 18 No.4.  This is followed by a modern classic: the intensely autobiographical String Quartet No. 8, Op. 110 by Shostakovich. The evening concludes with the monumental D minor quartet "Death and the Maiden" by Schubert, a highlight of the string quartet repertoire.

The Leonkoro Quartet has an enormous stage presence, is passionate about the music, takes risks, and astonishes with its sensitivity to the specific sound of each piece. For this performance the second violin is played by Loïc Rio, a member of the Modigliani Quartet.

獅子之心四重奏素以強烈的舞台感染力著稱，其演出充滿激情、勇於探索，並以敏銳的音色觸覺完美詮釋每首作品的獨特意境，令人讚嘆。今場音樂會呈獻橫跨三個世紀的經典傑作，他們先以貝多芬的C小調第四弦樂四重奏（作品18）拉開序幕，隨後是蕭斯達高維契充滿強烈自傳色彩的C小調第八弦樂四重奏（作品110）這套現代經典作品。音樂會的壓軸，乃是弦樂四重奏曲目的巔峰之作——舒伯特宏大的D小調弦樂四重奏《死神與少女》。

是次演出的第二小提琴是由莫迪葛利安尼四重奏成員里奧擔綱。
