    The annual Winter Carnival has already kicked off at the Central Harbourfront! The carnival features 53 rides and booths. For thrill-seekers, there’s Chaos, Vertical Limits, the newly added Pirate Ship, and the debut Big Ben Tower ride, which rises to a height of 80 meters! For family and children, there are the Giant Candy Slide, the Rocking Tub Boar, the Jumbo Flying Elephant, and over 20 game booths.
    There’s a newly added 60-minute magical Winter World Circus, presented by the British acrobatic troupe Gandeys. The show includes skywalks, motorcycle stunts, roller skating, and human pyramids. The carnival also features a dai pai dong themed beer area, with a Canto-pop disco; the Community Arena and a newly added TV programme-themed photo zone, where you can step into a TV scene and experience what it’s like to be the star of the show.

      Ancient Egypt Unveiled; Winter Carnival

      "Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums" at the Hong Kong Palace Museum is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of ancient Egypt in Hong Kong’s history, featuring 250 ancient treasures, all of which are making their Hong Kong debut.
      The exhibits come from seven prominent museums and recent archaeological sites in Egypt, ranging from statues of pharaohs and deities, painted mummy coffins, gold jewelry to animal mummies and everyday objects. Some of which are on display outside Egypt for the first time. The exhibition runs until August 2026.

      The “Treasures of the Mughal Court from the Victoria and Albert Museum” exhibition is being held at the Hong Kong Palace Museum from now until February. There are nearly 100 exhibits, including paintings, jewelry, architectural components, weapons, textiles, ceramics and more, including the immersive digital installation of Taj Mahal and related cultural relics.

      World Grand Prix will be held at Kai Tak Arena from 3rd to 8th February. After its debut outside the UK last year, the competition is back in Hong Kong with a total prize pool of 700,000 pounds. Only the world’s top 32 players ranked for the season are eligible to participate. The star-studded line-up includes defending world champion Neil Robertson, Judd Trump and Ronnie O’Sullivan (The Rocket), who Hong Kong snooker fans are familiar with; legendary Chinese players Ding Junhui, Zhao Xintong and Wu Yize; four-time world champion Mark Selby; Shaun Murphy; John Higgins and more.
