The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Office will organise the "Hong Kong ICH Month 2026" from 30 May to 30 June this year. Under the theme "ICH Around Town", the event features a series of diverse programmes designed to give the public and tourists a deeper understanding of ICH, thereby putting into practice the concept of "shaping tourism with cultural activities and promoting culture through tourism."

The 2026 Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is a spectacular 13‑day celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races. From 19 June to 1 July 2026, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade transforms into the city’s largest day‑and‑night Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, giving you an immersive festival experience to share with family and friends.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Hong Kong Film Archive presents its first-ever "Treasures Exhibition" at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum! From its collection of over 1.3 million precious film artifacts, the exhibition features carefully selected treasures of immense historical and cultural value , guiding visitors through a classic era of cinematic history. The exhibition takes place at Hong Kong Heritage Museum from June 3, 2026 to March 29, 2027.
