Dogs allowed in 1,000 restaurants from July / AI training for teachers / West Kowloon Cultural District donation kiosks / Albania protests

On this programme, we look into a ballot held last week that decides which restaurants will be able to allow dogs to enter their premises. A total of 2,205 applications were received earlier for a quota of not more than 1,000 restaurants.
Then, a lawmaker tells us more about a survey that studied what primary and secondary school teachers need to teach their students about AI, and what challenges they face.
After the break, we speak with another lawmaker on how setting up self-service donation kiosks around the West Kowloon Cultural District is going to support its operations.
And to wrap up the show, we hear from our US correspondent on a protest in Albania against a plan by a company linked to US President Donald Trump's son-in-law to build a luxury resort in an environmentally-sensitive area.

    Israel-Iran conflict / China-Africa ties / Centre Street Soeng5 Lok6 Festival

    主持人:Azam Khan

On today's programme, we delved into the escalating tension in the Middle East. The United Nations is calling for restraint as Israel and Iran continue to exchange fire. China has also expressed concern and condemned Israel’s violations of Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. Tel Aviv and Tehran traded blows after Israel launched a blistering surprise attack on Iranian nuclear and military sites on Friday, killing several top generals.

We also heard about China’s growing friendship with African nations. Beijing announced last week it will grant zero tariffs on all tariff lines for the 53 African countries with which it has diplomatic relations. We spoke to an expert to find out about the significance of the move amid rising geopolitical and trade tensions around the globe.

A the end of the show, we spoke to the organisers of the Centre Street Soeng5 Lok6 Festival.
