On Friday’s Brunch, just after 10:30am Cruz is joined by cheerleading coach Diana Tse to explore the growth of cheerleading in Hong Kong, the skills it develops, and why teamwork, encouragement and confidence-building are attracting more young people to the sport. Then after 11:30am, wildlife researcher and conservation advocate Astrid Andersson joins the programme to discuss Hong Kong’s yellow-crested cockatoos, nest box projects, urban wildlife conservation, and the remarkable story of Baby Hot Tub — the cockatoo chick that captured the city’s imagination.
