Welcome to Wednesday here on The Brew. For one last time we're giving away some Sevens tickets today. Today is a little different though, as you can win three passes ALL for Saturday. So that's you, and two friends. As always, listen out for the ridiculously hard question, then just SMS or WhatsApp your answer to 6899 8518. Tracy Quan joins us at 12:10 with all her news of the week from... Canada (today). Then, at 12:40, RTL France's Philippe Dova comes to you live from France... where it's very early in the mornning! At 1:25 it's 'classical' music day, with Paul Archibald. We're going off on a slight tangent today. AI Music is now the big thing, and is all around us, but where did it come from and how did we get here? You're in for a... (cough)...treat, today.

Tracy Quan - New York correspondent / Phillipe Dova - RTL France - live from Osaka Expo 2025/ Paul Archibald - Classical music

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Happy Wednesday, and welcome to your midweek Brew. At 12:10 New York correspondent Tracy Quan bring you all her latest. Then, at 12:40, a little trip to Osaka, where we'll catch up with RTL France's man in... Japan (this week), Philippe Dova. At 1:25 we'll pull over in Bangkok, as Wednesday is always... 'classical' music day with Paul Archibald. Today he wants to take you a little 'left field' and introduce you to the famous American composer Charles Ives. In his heyday this guy was a piece of work (tonally), but today we'll have a listen to some of his earlier pieces, which date from the late 1800s. Don't worry, these ones have 'tunes'. Promise!
Every weekday afternoon from 12 until 2... Only on Radio 3
