Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
Welcome to Wednesday on The Brew. Coming up after the mid-day news, our NYC correspondent Tracy Quan kicks things off with the nice, easy topic of the 'seven deadly sins', and then, of course... a bit of fashion! At 12:40, RTL France's Philippe Dova is live from Siem Reap with a special tribute to the legendary Belgian singer Frank Michael, the romantic "Prince of Lovers", who passed away just a few days ago at the age of 79. Finally at 1:25, it is 'classical' music day with our friend Paul Archibald, joining us live from Bangkok. Today we are exploring some fantastic symphonies by Antonin Dvorak, one of the most famous composers out there, and arguably history's biggest train nerd! He memorised timetables, hung out at railway stations, and once said he would give up all his musical works if he could just own a real locomotive (From the New World, maybe?) Oh yes, and he wrote some pretty decent tunes too.

Welcome to the Tuesday Brew. It’s not just Aussie day, it’s Melbourne day, as that’s where our huge panel of experts is hanging out. Biz futurist Morris Miselowski will be with you at 12:10. Today’s topic is “NOT ai”. Infact, he's going to tell you all about 'polyworking'. At 1:25, an hour later than normal, 'Aussie Man' Jarrod Watt comes to you live from the burbs, with all the news of the week that’s fit to broadcast and some great Australian music.
