Join us at Hong Kong Park for an evening of hope and connection through music. Joseph Haydn—Kapellmeister to the Esterházy family—wrote more than a hundred symphonies whose clarity, wit, and optimism continue to inspire. Johannes Brahms upheld those Classical ideals with deep feeling and craft, and he was admired by his colleague Max Bruch, who dedicated his First Symphony to Brahms.

This programme brings together cherished orchestral works by these three masters, including Max Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No. 1 with Esther Yoo as soloist. The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong will be conducted by Wilson Ng. The Hong Kong Children’s Choir opens the concert with uplifting songs, sharing a message of comfort, strength, and the courage to move forward.

在患難中，人與人之間的連結何等重要和珍貴。今年的「愛心園林音樂會」會展示作曲家之間的連結與愛戴，亦以音樂送上希望。畢生奉獻給艾斯塔哈西宮廷的海頓寫出過百首交響曲，作品風格明朗、睿智，不但深深吸引當時的歐洲大眾，亦啓發後世的作曲家。浪漫時期的布拉姆斯就繼承了海頓的古典美學。另一方面，布拉姆斯亦深受同時期的作曲家布魯赫欣賞，布魯赫甚至將重要的第一交響曲題獻給他。

音樂會將送上這三位大師的管弦樂曲，當中包括布魯赫為人喜愛的第一小提琴協奏曲，會由小提琴名家柳愛莎擔任獨奏，亦有吳懷世指揮的香港城市室樂團同台演出。香港兒童合唱團會率先登場，獻上三首鼓舞人心的合唱曲，陪伴大家越過困難、攜手前行。
