    The annual Hong Kong Race Week will be held from 27th January to 1st February. It's one of the most important international regattas for dinghies and invited classes in Hong Kong and it has always been a platform for Hong Kong athletes and Asian elites to compete on. The 7 classes include the laser ILCA 4 and 6, the 29er, the 2.4mR, the Optimist for juniors and more. Almost 300 athletes will be competing in four racecourses on the waters of Repulse Bay, Deep Water Bay, Stanley, Tai Tam, and Beaufort Island.
    The double dinghy 29-er race is the highest-level race in Asia, incorporating the Asian Championship and is an event of the ASAF Youth Cup Series. The event has attracted many young athletes of Olympic and Asian Games caliber from Australia, Germany, Italy, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, the Mainland and Macau. It also gives newcomers the opportunity to compete against top athletes.

      Ancient Egypt Unveiled; Arts Festival

      "Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums" at the Hong Kong Palace Museum is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of ancient Egypt in Hong Kong’s history, featuring 250 ancient treasures, all of which are making their Hong Kong debut.
      The exhibits come from seven prominent museums and recent archaeological sites in Egypt, ranging from statues of pharaohs and deities, painted mummy coffins, gold jewelry to animal mummies and everyday objects. Some of which are on display outside Egypt for the first time. The exhibition runs until August 2026.

Festilumi features over 20,000 giant luminous sculptures, using more than 20 million LED lights. Nine themed zones are filled with various light and shadow installations, interactive devices and fantastical creatures.
