    Invest Hong Kong annual report / LCSD new anti-touting measures / Esports tournament / Asian Financial Forum

    On Friday's programme, we talked with the Invest Hong Kong chief. That's because they've recently announced data showing how they've been assisting overseas and mainland companies to set up or expand their businesses in the SAR.
    We then learned about how the Leisure and Cultural Services Department is combating unauthorised transfers of bookings for recreation and sports facilities or venues.
    After the break, we turned our attention to a major e-sports tournament that'll take place in Kai Tak Arena. The Founding President of the Esports Association Hong Kong, China will tell us how they've collaborated with the League of Legends Champions Korea to hold the February competition.
    To wrap things-up, an investment advisor who was at this year's Asian Financial Forum will tell us more about the latest market developments.

    Animal cruelty laws / Youth reading habits / Online shopping scam trends

    In the first segment of Thursday's Backchat, we discussed ways to better combat animal abuse.

    Lawmakers and animal welfare groups say there's a need to beef up penalties for animal cruelty for a stronger deterrent effect. They also said there are loopholes with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance.
    Others, meanwhile, are calling on the authorities to review restrictions for pets in restaurants and expand their access to public transport to make Hong Kong a more pet-friendly city.
    In the second part of the show, we explored young people's reading habits ahead of World Book Day.
    And in the last part, we spoke to the police to learn more about the latest online shopping scam trends.
