On this programme, we talked to a lawmaker and a tech expert as Financial Secretary Paul Chan is seeking to pour in a total of 20 billion dollars for the development of two major tech hubs -- Hetao Hong Kong Park and San Tin Technopole. He's also announced in the Budget that a 10-billion-dollar Innovation and Technology Industry Oriented Fund is also expected to begin operations this year, alongside measures to support the industrialisation and application of AI in the city.

Maritime fuel bunkering / MPF enhancement proposals / Football frenzy

    Presenters:Azam Khan and John Bruce

On Thursday's Backchat, we learned about what the SAR is doing to enhance its status as a green maritime hub. Just recently, Hong Kong successfully completed its largest single liquefied natural gas, or LNG bunkering operation and marked a significant milestone with the first-ever ship-to-ship LNG refuelling alongside simultaneous cargo handling.
After the break, we switched gears and spoke to a representative from a major accounting firm to find out how we can improve the MPF system to boost retirement protection for people in Hong Kong.
And finally, we turned to football. More than 40,000 fans packed Kai Tak Stadium on Tuesday night to see Hong Kong, China clinch a 1-nil victory over India in a historic first home game at the new venue. We spoke to a lawmaker about the incredible atmosphere, and whether the SAR can further capitalise on this football craze.
