New batch of Epstein files / Record high Belt and Road investment figures / Social network for AI agents

On Friday's programme, we began with a closer look at the latest tranche of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The millions of documents released by the US Department of Justice contained the names of the rich and the powerful, from Elon Musk to Bill Gates, Republicans, Democrats, British politicians, Israeli intelligence agents, among others.

We then talked to experts on what the implications are, and if Epstein's victims are any closer to getting justice.

After the break, we heard from a scholar about how the Belt and Road Initiative was able to hit a record-high last year in total investment and construction. The mega-project has seen a deepening of economic cooperation in Africa and Central Asia.

And lastly, we talked with our tech correspondent and learn all about 'Moltbook', a social media platform that's designed for AI agents. Should we be amused, or afraid?

Elderly mental health study / Hong Kong Football Festival / Russian earthquake / We WATCH healthy lifestyle project

    主持人:Azam Khan and John Bruce

On Thursday's Backchat, we looked at problems associated with an aging population.
The Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service recently surveyed over 250 retirees, and found that many of them were emotionally and mentally stressed.
We spoke to an expert behind the survey to find out the reason behind that and what can be done to address the problem?
We also heard from a Tottenham FC star player, with the Hotspurs in town for the football festival at Kai Tak Stadium.
After the break, we talked to an expert about Wednesday’s earthquake that hit Russia's Far East -- one of the strongest ever recorded. The tremors triggered a series of tsunami alerts across nations in the Pacific.
Finally, we learned more about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, after the Jockey Club recently launched a project to help those aged between 35 and 59 avoid chronic diseases.
