    HKU launches Wealth Management Academy / Study on dementia and songs / Coul AI destroy humanity? / CityU v CUHK brain multitasking study

    On this programme, we first speak with the director of the first Wealth Management Academy led by the University of Hong Kong Business School on how to nurture the next generation of wealth management professionals, while fostering knowledge exchange across the industry. 

    Then, a doctor tells us how elderly patients suffering from dementia and cognitive decline can become less agitated after listening to their favourite songs.

    After the break, we turn our attention to AI as a former Anthropic researcher warned that the unchecked race to build self-improving super intelligence could destroy humanity by the end of the decade.

    And to wrap up the show, we look into a study by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong that uncovered how the brain dynamically manages and reorganises its neural resources when learning to multitask.

    White paper on safeguarding national security / Cross-border legal AI agent system / Diagonal crossings implementation

    On today's programme, we looked at the white paper released by the State Council Information Office, detailing the unrelenting fight for safeguarding national security in Hong Kong.
    After the break, a professor from the Polytechnic University told us more about how his institution is stepping up in developing the city's first cross-border legal AI agent system.
    And to end our programme, we talked to a chief engineer from the Transport Department about the gradual implementation of diagonal crossings at 15 junctions across the city this year.
