Formerly the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence, located at Lyemun Pass (now the Lei Yue Mun Channel), was renamed in 2024. This episode combines two segments recorded in 2014 to take listeners on a guided tour of the Lyemun Fort Historical Trail, stopping at key checkpoints along the way.

Brian Tilbrook is an artist, set designer, former teacher and a Hong Kong resident since 1965. In this 2017 interview with Annemarie Evans, he fondly recalled working with the Hong Kong Repertory Company on a Cantonese version of Westside Story and where some of his artwork for the infamous Carrian Group resurfaced. He also shared why and how he displayed youngsters’ works in their school toilets.
