Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
Happy, sunny Thursday, and welcome to The Brew. Straight after the 12 news it's 'Brewed in HK' time. John Prymmer will be with us, live from Cleveland, USA, dropping another brilliant selection of tracks from Hong Kong's talented singers, songwriters and bands. Then at 1:25, live from South Africa, Chef Jason Black joins us with an upgrade: Lemon Chicken 2.0. And, perfect timing too... it's National Poultry Day in the States, which is all about celebrating chicken!

Welcome to Tuesday's Brew. On this day in 1868 the world's frist traffic lights, well, more like railway signals... were seen on the streets of London. That's obviously a (rather clumsy) segue into our chat with biz futurist Morris Miselowski, who joins us live from Melbourne at 12:10. Listen in for more. Just down the road from Morris (literally) is Jarrod Watt, who'll give you all of this week's Aussie news at 12:40. At 1:25 from 'somewhere' in Guangdong, marathon runner and uber-fundraiser Jo Lodder will check in. He's just about to complete a 3000km run from Beijing to Hong Kong. Jo and his friend John Fan will be 'crossing the finish line' at the Kai Tak stadium this Saturday morning, after raising a lot of money for children with disabilities through the Action Asia Foundation. Every weekday afternoon from 12:05 until 2... Only on Radio 3
