Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music.
Happy Friday, and welcome to The Brew. At 12:10 it’s Marshy Movie Time with James Marsh, live from Chiang Mai. Reviews today include VisionQuest, which has become Disney+’s most-watched show, and Tenzing, the Apple TV film about Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary that has topped the movie charts in ninety-two countries. At 1:25 it’s Sports and All with Danny Hicks, our second this week, and he’s live once again from the Hong Kong Open in Fanling. Yesterday local golfers Matthew Cheung and Isaac Lam both shot six under and briefly led the field, the first time two Hong Kong players have topped the board in the tournament’s history. Join Danny and James on Facebook live if you can

Welcome to Tuesday's Brew. On this day in 1868 the world's frist traffic lights, well, more like railway signals... were seen on the streets of London. That's obviously a (rather clumsy) segue into our chat with biz futurist Morris Miselowski, who joins us live from Melbourne at 12:10. Listen in for more. Just down the road from Morris (literally) is Jarrod Watt, who'll give you all of this week's Aussie news at 12:40. At 1:25 from 'somewhere' in Guangdong, marathon runner and uber-fundraiser Jo Lodder will check in. He's just about to complete a 3000km run from Beijing to Hong Kong. Jo and his friend John Fan will be 'crossing the finish line' at the Kai Tak stadium this Saturday morning, after raising a lot of money for children with disabilities through the Action Asia Foundation. Every weekday afternoon from 12:05 until 2... Only on Radio 3
