To mark National Security Education Day, the Department of Justice presents the National Security Legal Forum, broadcast live by Radio Television Hong Kong. The forum is themed around the white paper titled “Hong Kong: Safeguarding China’s National Security Under the Framework of One Country, Two Systems”, released on 10 February 2026. Bringing together legal and academic experts, it features keynote speeches and panel discussions on Hong Kong’s legal framework, implementation experience, and practical achievements in safeguarding national security, with particular reference to the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The forum aims to enhance public understanding, strengthen law-abiding awareness, and support Hong Kong’s long-term overall stability and prosperity.
