Although eggs seem to be healthy and wholesome, it was once said that egg yolks would trigger the cholesterol problem. How would the latest research explain the issue? According to Chinese medicine theory, one should not consume eggs when having a wound, because eggs are “stimulating food”. How should we consume eggs for the best of our health?
In this episode, the “Food Fanatics” will bring us to a local chicken farm to see how to make hens lay quality eggs, and get tips on how to choose good eggs. In the kitchen, the chef host Will will prepare a creative “Chinese steamed egg trio” with Maggie LEUNG, and Dr TSUI Chak-cheong, Chinese medicine practitioner and a body builder, is invited to share the dos and don’ts for egg consumption.
