At the end of this month, Chief Executive John Lee will lead a delegation to visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Central Asia. The first stop is Kazakhstan, the world’s largest landlocked country.

Kazakhstan has abundant oil, gas, and mineral resources. It is not only the strongest economy in the region, but also an important commercial and logistics hub connecting China and Europe. In recent years, Kazakhstan has also been actively developing artificial intelligence and digital technologies. This overseas visit by the Chief Executive will mark further links between Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.

In this episode, the programme will elaborate from different perspectives how the advantages of the HKSAR Government can help the country develop the “Belt and Road” development blueprint.
