    Iran war updates / Hong Kong Science Museum's new exhibits / More snakes spotted in Tseung Kwan O

    On this programme, we looked at the conflict in the Middle East, after US President Donald Trump sent confusing signals hinting that the Iran war could end soon. At the same time, Mr Trump is saying that the US could hit the country “twenty times harder”.

    After the break, a curator from the Hong Kong Science Museum told us more about the three new permanent galleries in the museum that focus on how modern technology, such as AI, robotics, and biotechnology, shapes daily life and future innovations.

    And to wrap it up, a lawmaker and pest control experts gave us some tips on what to do if you see snakes, after some residents in Tseung Kwan O reported a spike in sightings.

    CE John Lee's Middle East trip / Advanced maternal age / Kindergarten closures / Washington's tariffs on non-US movies

    On Friday's Backchat, we spoke to the head of the Law Society, Roden Tong, about what he hopes to achieve during his upcoming trip to the Middle East. Tong is part of Chief Executive John Lee’s delegation seeking to explore new opportunities in Qatar and Kuwait.

    We then looked at the issue of advanced maternal age and the health risks associated with it. It comes as more women opt to start a family later in life, with one local actor's wife announcing her pregnancy at 58.
    After 9.30, we discussed kindergarten closures, as a local school announced shutting down two of its branches.
    And after 9.45, we talked about US president Donald Trump's recent announcement of tariffs on non-US films.
