QS World University Rankings / Horseshoe crab conservation

    Presenters:Azam Khan and Mike Rowse

On Monday's Backchat, we discussed Hong Kong's development as a global education hub.
The SAR achieved the highest rate of improvement in Asia in the latest QS World University Rankings, with the University of Hong Kong rising six places to 11th globally — the city's best-ever performance. Five Hong Kong universities now fall within the world’s top 100.

We spoke to experts about the city's achievements and how the education sector can build upon its successes.

In the second part of our programme, we heard from Ocean Park about the use of drones and artificial intelligence to study the horseshoe crab population in Hong Kong’s largest horseshoe crab nursing ground -- Ha Pak Nai in Yuen Long. We found out how the use of technology can help policymakers implement more targeted conservation measures.
