AI talent race / Data Summit 2025 / Underwater performing arts

    主持人:Mike Rowse and Rainbow Leung

On Tuesday's programme, we looked at artificial intelligence (AI) and its fiercely competitive job market, at a time when tech firms’ recruitment drives increasingly resemble those of football clubs.

Just recently, Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta offered a staggering 250 million US dollars to a young Australian genius, furthering competition and raising the bar in the recruitment war for tech talent.  Are these efforts to lure top talent fostering competition or creating inequalities?

After the break, we stayed in the tech sphere and learned more about a data summit that took place here in Hong Kong. The event brought together hundreds of industry stakeholders, with connectivity being the key highlight.

And finally, we dived into the magical world of mermaids. Our presenters spoke to the artists and organisers of the Hong Kong Underwater Performing Arts Association on their new project.

    9:05am-9:30am: AI talent race

    Speakers:

Roy Ying, Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management’s Advocacy and Policy Research Committee
