On Thursday's Backchat, we looked back at the commemorations that took place in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
President Xi Jinping, who reviewed troops along Chang'an Avenue during the event, also called for worldwide harmony to eliminate war. An international relations commentator told us more about the significance of the event.
After that, we turned our attention to oral health because HKU's school of dentistry has recently concluded a community care project using its new AI-powered mobile app to assess the oral health of elderly residents.
And after the break, we spoke to experts on how people can better plan for old age, after a recent study found that the life expectancy for women in Hong Kong had hit a record high of more than 88 years.
