    Ebola outbreaks in DR Congo / Ocean Park's Water World reopening / Anti-diabetes drug used against organ ageing / APEC trade ministers meeting in Suzhou

    On this programme, we hear from a doctor after the SAR  activated an "alert" response level following Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda.
    And then, a marketing expert tells us all about Ocean Park's special HK$2 admission offer for the elderly and disabled to its Water World from May 16th to July the third.
    After the break, we take a closer look at research by the Chinese University of Hong Kong that's discovered that a diabetes drug can counteract key hallmarks of ageing across multiple organ systems, and have potential efficacy in patients with severe stroke.
    And finally, we learn about an APEC ministerial meeting in Suzhou. The two-day event will cover important issues such as economic integration, supply chain resilience, digital trade and efforts to reduce barriers to cross-border commerce.

    South Korea's AI law / Elderly friendly banking initiatives / Privacy Commissioner’s Office's 30th Anniversary

    On Wednesday's programme, we started with a discussion on regulating artificial intelligence development. South Korea recently introduced what it says is the world's first comprehensive set of laws overseeing AI, aimed at strengthening trust and safety in the sector. However, start-ups are concerned that these rules could hold them back.

    After the break, we learned about new measures the banking industry is adopting to enhance elderly-friendly services.

    And we wrapped-up the show chatting with the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. As the watchdog celebrates its 30th anniversary, we reflected on how it has navigated the digital era to safeguard people's privacy.
