    Iran war updates / Hong Kong Science Museum's new exhibits / More snakes spotted in Tseung Kwan O

    On this programme, we looked at the conflict in the Middle East, after US President Donald Trump sent confusing signals hinting that the Iran war could end soon. At the same time, Mr Trump is saying that the US could hit the country “twenty times harder”.

    After the break, a curator from the Hong Kong Science Museum told us more about the three new permanent galleries in the museum that focus on how modern technology, such as AI, robotics, and biotechnology, shapes daily life and future innovations.

    And to wrap it up, a lawmaker and pest control experts gave us some tips on what to do if you see snakes, after some residents in Tseung Kwan O reported a spike in sightings.

    Anti-smoking law amendment proposals / Sports tech development / Polytechnic University's tourism satisfaction index

    On Monday’s Backchat, we talked about the government’s plans to tighten anti-smoking regulations.

    Authorities have proposed amending existing anti-smoking laws, which will include a ban on the possession and use of alternative smoking products, such as e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products, in public by next year.
    Other potential measures include prohibiting smoking while queuing and within three metres of the doorways of hospitals, clinics, care homes, and childcare centres.
    After the news, we turned our attention to sports technology and learned more from the startup behind the running track dubbed the world’s “fastest”.
    And after 9:45, we learned more about a recent tourism satisfaction index published by the Polytechnic University.
