New ride-hailing platform / Enhanced AI-powered publishing tool / Fitting rooms for the disabled / HKUST's AI medical imaging tool

    Presenters:Azam Khan and Rainbow Leung

On Friday's Backchat, we looked at the recent unveiling of a new regulatory framework for the ride-hailing industry, including requiring licences for ride-hailing operators.

Chief Executive John Lee earlier said that the city should no longer delay in addressing the issue despite its complexity.

We spoke to an expert and got his take on the proposal.
We then turned our attention to how artificial intelligence is transforming the ways books are published - a trend that Hong Kong is helping to set.

After the break, we listened to how one organisation is trying to make fitting rooms in Hong Kong more accessible for people with disabilities.

And finally, we spoke to an expert from the University of Science and Technology about a new medical imaging tool that can reduce patients' exposure to radiation.

    9:05am-9:25am: New ride-hailing platform
