On Friday's Backchat, we learnt about an upcoming concert venue. Live Nation, the organiser of the Coldplay concert, has announced the setting up of a new concert venue in Whampoa by the year's end, in what some hope can further bolster Hong Kong's offering of mid-sized venues.
After the break, we looked at the MTR's decision to formalise its "Cat-Dog Carrying Scheme" starting from September. We talked to a representative from the SPCA and a transport expert on how the scheme's trial was received by pet owners and members of the public, and how its formalisation could change public transport usage.
