On this programme, we talk to a lawmaker on the Ombudsman recently urging the government to empower conservation officers to enter people’s homes to investigate suspected animal cruelty cases. It follows an uncovering of inconsistent and ineffective investigations into suspected abuse.
The Philippine Consul General in Hong Kong then tells us all about Filipino Food Month which is happening throughout April, celebrating the vibrant flavors and rich culinary heritage of the Southeast Asian nation.
After the break, we take a closer look at the new rules introduced by Cyberspace Administration for live stream tipping. The rules will ban children under eight from the practice and a tiered system will be also be introduced to protect older minors and prevent irrational spending.
And finally, a professor from Hong Kong Polytechnic University joins the show to introduce a new robot the university jointly developed with CLP Power, that carries out generator checks more efficiently and safely.
